Installation
instructions:
F-16CG widescreen Superpit version 2.0,
October 2010
This version is intended for Falcon 4.0
with FF5. The native resolution is 1920x1200(16:10), autoscaling will
allow 1680x1050 and 1440x900. Running the cockpit in 16:9 is also possible
but will result in slight horizontal stretching in the 2D cockpit.
F-16CG pit installation
Step 1
Run the f16_cg_wide_ff_v2.0 installer.
Step 2
Agree
with the EULA and select
install (reinstall completely or look for update if installed
earlier)
Wait
until the installer is completely finished and it confirms the add-on is
installed successfully
Step 3
Start
Falcon and select an F-16CG Falcon to fly in either Dogfight,
Tactical
Engagement or Campaign mode.
Settings
These
are recommended settings, with and without use of TrackIR:
Step 1
Run
the FFViper Config Editor in your FreeFalcon5 dir
Step 2
Point
it to your FreeFalcon5 FFViper.exe
Step 3
Go
to ‘Cockpit settings’
Step 4
3Dcockpit
FOV – Set to 60 (Default)
Step 5
Click
Apply
Splash screens
To have the splash screens
for the CG enabled do the following:
Step 1
Run
the FFViper Config Editor in your FreeFalcon5 dir
Step 2
Point
it to your FreeFalcon5 FFViper.exe
Step 3
Go to
‘'View
settings', 'Splash screens', and select 'F-16CG’
Step 4
Click
Apply
Tweaks
If
you want to fly the F-16A or F-16 blk 30, you need to make use of the CG's
3D cockpit data for correct positioning of the MFD's. Here are the
steps:

Back
up FreeFalcon5\art\ckptart\3Dckpit.dat
Step 2
Copy
FreeFalcon5\art\ckptart\F-16CG\3DCKPIT.DAT
Step 3
Paste
and overwrite the file in FreeFalcon5\art\ckptart
